The FAKRO LWP attic ladder is installed by first preparing the rough opening and checking clearance and ceiling height. The frame is temporarily suspended using LXK brackets or support boards, then lowered into place, leveled with shims, and anchored with screws while ensuring it stays square. Once secured, the gap around the frame is insulated, and supports are removed. The ladder is unfolded, measured, and trimmed to match the floor height, with rubber-capped ends adjusted for a straight fit. Final checks confirm smooth operation, tight fasteners, and a flush ceiling finish before the ladder is ready for safe use.
