Installing the Platform Storage Lifter in your garage is a breeze, comparable to mounting a flat-screen TV. The process involves just two main steps. First, mount the MyLifter system to your ceiling and extend the lifting cables. Then, assemble the lifting frame, fasten your items to it securely with the included lifting straps, and attach the frame to the cables.
To determine if the platform storage lifter is right for your needs, measure the height of the items you plan to store on it (B). When empty, the platform will hang 18 inches (A) from the ceiling. If your items are taller than this, add 3 inches to account for the frame height; this will give you the total distance your items will hang down from the ceiling.
At its lowest position, the bottom of the frame will be 11 feet 9 inches (C) from your ceiling.
