How It Works with Your Attic Stairs

The Majic Attic Lift works alongside your attic stairs or pull-down ladder — it doesn't replace them. You still go up the stairs; the lift carries the boxes. It needs its own 22½" × 49¼" opening between two trusses, at least one truss bay away from the stairs (two bays is better), so you have room to load and unload from the open side of the basket. In a garage, the lift usually sits right beside the stairs; in a hallway, the two are often further apart. Either works.
