Clearance Requirements

To determine if your item will fit in the intended space, measure the total height of the item you plan to store (B). When fully raised, the bottom of the Universal HD Lifter frame will be 9.5 inches below the ceiling (A). Add the height of your item to 9.5 inches to calculate the required overhead clearance.

When fully lowered, the bottom of the frame extends 11 feet 9 inches from the ceiling (C). Use this measurement and your item's height to confirm whether it will reach the ground.

A: 9.5 in.
