Clearance Requirements

To confirm that your item will fit in the desired space, measure the total height of the item you plan to lift (B). When the Universal XL Lifter is fully raised, the bottom of the frame will be 9.5 inches below the ceiling (A). Add the height of your item to 9.5 inches to determine the required overhead clearance.

When fully lowered, the bottom of the frame extends 11 feet 9 inches from the ceiling (C). Use the same calculation to check if your item will touch the ground.
