Clearance Requirements

To determine if your item will fit in the desired space, start by measuring the total height of the item you plan to store (B). When the Universal Lifter is fully raised, the bottom of the frame is 9.5 inches below the ceiling (A). Add the height of your item to this 9.5-inch clearance to calculate the total overhead space needed.

When fully lowered, the bottom of the frame hangs 11 feet from the ceiling (C). Use this same calculation to ensure your item will reach the ground if needed.
